感謝您們過去對南港瓶蓋工廠的支持。這個星期天上午9:00~12:00 工廠難得開放，我們將進行紀念兩周年的清掃活動，自己的古蹟自己護，自己的古蹟自己掃。懇請大家協助宣傳與報導。

守護南港瓶蓋工廠的行動即將屆滿兩周年，這起因於想在它被拆除前清掃工廠，在裡面舉辦免費市場，給所有大家不需要的東西一個讓他人好好珍惜利用的機會，減少垃圾的製造，展現工廠標語中「修護重於購置」的價值。
這個公民愚公移山的拯救運動只源於一個小小的單純願望，如果有外國朋友來，我們知道哪裡可以展現「台灣製造」的獨特文化，我們想保住「根」並引以為傲，根紥得深才能枝繁葉茂。為何這麼多外國朋友都覺得酷的地方，我們卻要拆掉？我們是如此熱愛腳下所踩的土地，所以珍惜與父母、祖父母共同的記憶，一起擁抱的大樹和熟悉的綠意，希望找得到回家的道路，希望讓後代能持續被大樹庇蔭。我們深信我們的孩子值得一座森林城市，一個更有文化內涵的未來。
南港瓶蓋工廠是台灣工業與軍事史上不可磨滅的一段重要史蹟，南港曾經背負黑鄉的惡名而創造出經濟奇蹟，這最後的工業地景曾有多少藝文活動在此發生，更成了最夯的拍片場景。
因道路開闢，正門被文化局指定的標誌性建築（亦是五月天怪獸在電影《逆轉勝》中極力要保住的冠軍撞球館）將被砍成兩半，毀壞建築本體和罕見精美檜木樑柱，近期市府即將發包動工拆除。有違市長選前多次全區保留的承諾。

所以自己的古蹟自己護，自己的古蹟自己掃。我們除了淨山、淨灘，我們也可以淨古蹟，自己來維護它。
星期天上午，感謝議員會勘爭取到難得機會打開工廠，請把握一年多來首度在假日開放的機會，一起來瓶蓋工廠尋寶撿垃圾，還給工廠一個美麗的環境。
當天目標打掃出一個適合滑板移動的環境，南港Tiger Surf Shop 的朋友更會推廣教學這項極限運動。
這裡曾舉辦過國際街舞大賽，有許多在世界廣為人知的街頭表演影片都在這裡拍攝。旁邊更有相對低度使用的極限運動中心。

The action of saving Nangang Bottle Cap Factory started in the end of June two years ago. We wanted to clean the factory before its demolition and held a Really Really Free Market inside, giving things we didn't need chances to be cherished by others, reducing waste manufacturing because we believe in the value shown in the factory's slogan "Maintenance is more important than purchase."
The movement to save the factory only began with a simple wish: if our foreign friends visit us, we'll know where we can show the unique culture "Made in Taiwan." We want to keep our "roots" and be proud because only the deep-rooted trees can flourish. Why do so many foreign friends think this place so cool and we have to tear it down? We love our land so much that we cherish the memories shared with our parents and grandparents. We want to hug the old trees and familiar green, hoping to find the way to get home and that future generations can continue to be shaded by trees. We believe that our children deserve a forest city, a future rich with culture.
Nangang Bottle Cap Factory is an important heritage site in Taiwan's industrial and military history. Nangang bore the stigma of "Black Town" and created an economic miracle. The factory is the last industrial landscape in this area. Many cultural events occurred here and it even became the hottest spot for film locations in Taipei.
A road will pass through the main entrance of the factory, destroying the landmark building designated by the Department of Cultural Affairs as cultural heritage. (It's the Champion Billiard, which Mayday Monster tried to guard in the movie "Second Chance." ) The building will be cut in half, ruining the body and its rare fine cypress wood beams, Recently the government is about to commence demolition contract. And it's against the mayor's election promise to preserve the entire factory.

So let's protect our own heritage. Let's maintain and clean it by ourselves. We can not only clean the beaches or the mountains but also the heritage sites to show our love.
This Sunday morning, make good use of this rare opportunity to visit the factory. It will be opened on a holiday for the first time in 18 months. Let's look for treasure from rubbish. Make it as beautiful as before.
Our goal is to clean the space for skateboarding. Friends from Tiger Surf Shop will also promote and teach you how to enjoy the sport.
An international street dance contest was held here 2 years ago. Many films of well-know street performers in the world were also shot here. The Extreme Sports Center is close to the factory though it's neglected.
